Today we will be exploring website prototyping. A large part of web design actually occurs within Photoshop, or other graphical tools. It is best to first design the visuals of a website within one of these tools before building it. A well-planned and therefore well-designed website will have an added level of professionalism as compared to one built “on the fly”.
Today’s exercise will build on what you did last week. If you haven’t completed last week’s exercise, begin with that. Exercise 4 involves applying some basic styling to the “World’s First Website Page”.

Exercise #3 – World’s First Website
You can submit the exercise by clicking on the red “Submit” button at the top of the page, and following the steps described. It seems that the Guelph-Humber labs don’t have flash player installed in Firefox, so use Internet Explorer in our lab for the upload.
